The vibrant colors of the freshly painted walls enveloped Maya in a warm embrace as she walked through her new house. She inhaled deeply, relishing the scent of fresh paint and wood. She smiled, a lightness filling her. She had a lot to do to arrange the furniture. She should probably try to reach them. But the sun streamed through the windows, casting shadows that danced around the room. She decided to go to her bedroom and sit on the bed. So she did.
